Dentures and dental care in Visalia
Full, partial and implant-supported dentures from two general dentists. We explain each option on a model and give you a written estimate before anything starts, in English or Spanish.

Paying for care
Before you book, we tell you what we can bill and what your plan says it covers. The details are on our How fees work page.
We file the claim for you. We check your plan before you book and tell you what it says it covers for dentures.
Call us before you book. We will tell you plainly whether we take your plan.
Original Medicare usually does not pay for dentures or routine dental care. Some Medicare Advantage plans include dental benefits, and we can check yours.
You get a written estimate before treatment starts. Financing is offered by third-party lenders. Approval and terms are set by the lender.
Why Radix
Choosing dentures is a big decision, and you should not have to make it in a hurry. Our two dentists show you each option on a model, tell you what it involves and what it needs afterward, and give you a written estimate before anything starts.
Many patients come to us after putting off a visit for a while. Bring a family member, ask us to slow down, and ask the same question twice.
We show each kind of denture on a model, so you can see and feel the difference before you choose.
Fittings take as long as they take, and you can ask for a break at any point.
Dr. Escobedo and our patient coordinator speak Spanish, and our forms are in both languages.
Before treatment you get a written estimate that lists each step and what it costs.

Radix is the Latin word for root. We start with what you want to eat, say and smile about, and work back from there.
We ask what you want to do again before we suggest anything.
Full, partial or implant-supported, with what each one involves and needs afterward.
A new denture often needs small adjustments in the first weeks. We plan them with you.

Most people need one of three: full, partial or implant-supported dentures. We explain what each involves and what it needs afterward before you choose.

A full set of replacement teeth for the upper jaw, the lower jaw or both, made from impressions of your mouth. Your dentist tells you how many visits it takes, usually several fittings over a few weeks, and what to expect while you get used to it.
Upper, lower or both
Fittings over several visits
Adjustments after you start wearing them
How to clean and care for them

Replacement teeth that fill the gaps while you keep the teeth you have. A partial denture clips to your natural teeth, so your dentist first checks that the teeth that hold it are healthy.
Matched to your natural teeth
Clips to the teeth you keep
Checks on your remaining teeth
Care instructions in writing

A denture that attaches to dental implants in the jaw, so it stays steadier when you eat and talk. Implants need a procedure and healing time, and not everyone is a candidate. Your dentist explains the steps, the risks, who places the implants and the alternatives first.
An X-ray to check the bone first
Healing time between steps
Careful cleaning around the implants
Alternatives explained before you decide

A cracked denture, a loose fit or a sore spot: bring it in and we tell you whether it can be repaired, relined or adjusted, and what that involves.
Sore-spot adjustments
Relines for a loose fit
Cracks and broken teeth
Cleaning and care advice

Exams and cleanings for the natural teeth and gums you have, and a check of how your denture fits. Your dentist decides how often you need to come.

X-rays when your dentist decides
Gum checks
Oral cancer screening
Our team
Two general dentists and a patient coordinator. Dr. Escobedo and Nahomi Deleon speak Spanish.

General dentist and founder
Fits and adjusts full and partial dentures as a general dentist, and sees patients for everyday dental care. Speaks English and Spanish.

General dentist
A general dentist who explains each step before it happens and checks the fit of every denture at follow-up visits.

Patient coordinator
Checks your dental benefits before your first visit and prepares your written estimate. Speaks English and Spanish.
How it works
A first visit, a written plan, a fitting and follow-up, with the cost explained at each step.
Use the form or call us. Tell us whether you prefer English or Spanish, and bring someone with you if you like.
Your dentist looks at your mouth, takes X-rays only if needed, and shows you the options on a model.
You get the treatment, the number of visits and the estimate in writing, so you can take it home and decide.
We check the fit, make small adjustments, and see you again once you have worn the denture for a while.
Patient stories
“I was nervous to ask how much it would cost. They wrote everything down before they started, and Dr. Escobedo went over it twice in Spanish so my daughter and I both understood.”
“The first week I needed two small adjustments, and nobody made me feel like a bother. I am glad I came back to have them done.”
“Nahomi called my plan before my first visit and told me what it covered and what it did not. There were no surprises when the estimate came.”
“Dr. Barboza showed me the three kinds of dentures on a model and never rushed me. I took the estimate home and decided the next week.”
“My wife and I come together for our checkups. The office is easy to get into, and everyone speaks slowly and clearly.”

“I brought my sister to every visit. They explained things to both of us and never made us feel rushed.”
